2010 Seven of Hearts Pinot Noir Willamette Valley

2010 Seven of Hearts Pinot Noir Willamette Valley Label

Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar, July 2012. By: Josh Raynolds. Bright medium red.  Understated aromas of red berries, dried flowers and sassafras, with a spicy nuance adding lift.  Silky and open-knit, offering fresh raspberry and cherry flavors and a hint of candied rose.  Finishes soft and supple, with good focus and length. 89 points

PinotFile, May 11, 2012. By: Rusty Gaffney, MD. Moderately light reddish-purple color in the glass. The nose is nicely fruited with aromas of dark red and black stone fruits and berries. Earthbound flavors of black raspberries, black cherries and plums wrapped in firm supporting tannins, finishing with a fruit-driven flourish. A solid wine for everyday drinking. Good (+).
